I think that the Netscape 4.8 part will work with Netscape 4.5 or greater (at least that's what the Mail Setup for the Palm says). A. So, I was able to see the passwords for the troublesome email accounts...and lo, there was the ORIGINAL comcast password I had forgotten in the first place. Turn off the computer. 2. It doesn't make sense, but it works now...for now. Please post back with any response you receive, and the fix, if any.
I had used both 4.x and 7.1 before doing this and lost some emails in the process. Maybe it's easier to leave this PW, whatever it is, and go back to the Comcast site and change the password to match? However her POP3 email server password was just changed, but without her old password she cannot enter the new password via the preference interface. Can you tell me how to turn it off?
