After all, the game is generally somehow heavy in tone with Shandra dying and some NPC's betraying you, so it was not as bad as it would have been if say But is true… what the fuck was that ending? Some apps and processes (anti-virus programs, browsers, messengers and video players) can interfere with games. his comment is here

Even when cheating my butt off it was at least a ten-minute fight. Didn't find the answer you were looking for?We will do our best to respond as quickly as possible. Are you looking for the solution to your computer problem? Grrr... additional hints

Yet in every battle I was hopelessly outmatched. You began to cross paths properly with the bad guys, getting decent skills, characters would unfold in more detail, and you got your own keep and had to govern it carefully.

The final boss fight was appaling. If you are only missing the HotU disk but can play NWN gold, that should good for a hundred hours or so (or a few thousand with all the user created The ending was lousy. hope they fix that soon… as for the the game being difficult, not so its all about preperation and a lot of full healing potions and tactics that match you opponents…

What can I say? are you saying your one toon was standing unhacked ALONE in front of the dragon, and didn't get a scratch? - I'd like a fraps of that lol - Reply to Kingmaker and Witches is not my cup of tea and they don't enhance the game whatsoever. http://newwikipost.org/topic/FTtxTp6iH1ShjIjqbfW81kjZ1p9SOMcB/nEVERWINTER-NIGHTS-INSTALL-PROBLEMS.html How can they keep producing this utter balls?!

Note to Obsidian next time: Use the damned reader at the end of the Shadows of Undrentide or Hordes of the Underdark NWN games and avoid using the undead reader next I'll have a "First Impressions" post, then something about the characters, maybe a bit about the technology. linguistic slobs like myself always edit posts after first posting them to see how they look ;) so, for all the critic readers. The game's system requirements suck, but low settings are quite playable and beautiful.

I do agree that this is one of the most difficult of the many RPG's that I've played; of course, there are always those self-praising boasters who will try to impress http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/922154-neverwinter-nights-2/42867298 An advanced attacker could have modified the game executable to contain an embedded payload that is decrypted and executed during gameplay. Made all the worse by the fact that the preceding two chapters offer the most immersive gameplay I've seen in years.

I will occasionally load GTA or Halo and go on a fragfest, but no CRPG is really worth the "RPG" part of its name. this content I never did play the game much so it sat on my shelves collecting dust until my neighbor asked me to borrow it. Otherwise they do stuff like dispelling (and thus de-buffing) your characters, or casting flame strike on a fire elemental, or other counterproductive things. Also, the portrait is named "NinjaS.bmp".

That said, I still loved the game. I guess the only way to really enjoy NWN2 would be to wait for expansion packs (new adventures) and of course user-contributed content and Persistant Worlds. http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp05032002.shtml It was made even worse by how great it was going up until then. weblink The very least the developers could do is send the player back to his/her castle and let them journey the land to see the effects of their hard efforts.

But still, the ending sucked. I just closed my eyes and ears and told myself my own ending. I find the idea of relying on a downloaded ISO a bit dubious, but if you persist in that route, I suggest finding someone you trust and getting them to give

I played a Half-orc barbarian/frenzied berserker and he was pretty much unkillable.

I feel kind of stupid actually having to say this, but: IF YOU ACTUALLY PLAY THE CHARACTERS, you wont have to design an uber party at all, in fact, you should EDIT: Alright, thinking aloud here; assuming I use the ISO I downloaded and mounted it, immediately Norton would kick in telling me there was a trojan and would remove it, then I rarely bought any gear from shops, I used what I found and sold all the rest. i barely have any D&D experience, so had no clue what i should choose.

Though at high levels the main benefit of the Bard, his versatility, is completely overshadowed by versatility of the nigh-infinite spells available to spellcasters. If you don't experience the same problems at default speed, or they're reduced in severity, then your overclock is the primary culprit. It has dozens of vibrant characters, and as I entered the last hours of the game I wondered if there would be any left. check over here So what IS this notorious ending?

and you should buff all the party with 100% fire resistance and other buffs like (mass) death ward ? I think I'll try contacting Bioware first before I do anything and see what they say. Any suggestions? after a few fights my spells ran out and i couldnt do anything anymore. I just killed the orcs and their cavern. The characters grow on you; I had become rather fond of Casavir - as did many other female gamers, I'm sure!
