Using the site is easy and fun. give this a quick try.... To solve this problem (for the time being) i have to perform a tedious task. Have you tried a system restore to before the problem occurred?
i uninstalled and reinstalled the network drivers (wired and wireless) but still having the same problem.. its the instructions for clearing / re-building the icon cache for the notification area / system tray ... While that happens, performance temporarily decreases, even Synaptics touch pad has some freezes/jumps. I ended up finding a strange way to solve the problem: rebooting on Safe Mode and simply after that rebooting again on normal mode.

Network Icon NOT responding.... No. second, make sure the driver for your wifi networking in the PC is updated. I didn't even know that existed, but my system was automatically set for that.
I got to that solution because I had one or two failed restore attempts that fixed some annoyances (driver issues, crazy touch pad cursor etc). now if i exit winstep xtreme and double-click or... My system tray icons sometimes are not responding (not the system ones, but installed software installed by me)!
