Last, the only way to get back to normal operation is to terminate the process using the CPU cycles and restart Chrome after waiting a minute. Everything you described ,, the flashing first, then freezing of mouse and screen, the yellow showing lost internet connection, yet my router is not showing same.. scandisk and memtest86 would be next. If Chrome was open before the docking it will have the same behavior and will have to be killed in the task manager. Turn off computer. You can switch though existing tabs but they're completely unresponsive --- can't shift focus between page elements, the cursor doesn't change when mousing over links, the Chrome window can be resized Malwarebytes the desktop will be visible but nothing responds...

Ok maybe some few more details will help understand better my situation:We have the same 2821 router with 2 gigabit ethernet interfaces and 1 HSSI interface. Ccleaner The PC works flawlessly (well) on Win 7, but after upgrading to win 10 I get these freezes. I *think* it's telling me that these are registry keys and all I know about the registry is that if you don't know what you're doing you aren't supposed to mess I just had to restart it some 10 minutes ago to restore the service.

I resolved it by disabling power off for the network adapter during sleep. After installation and a reboot, I was able to use my PC for an entire day with NO NETWORK DROPS!!!
