Tried various of the methods mentioned here which did not work. Method 4 works for me. Seems like there's no more Other LAN drivers for w7 in their website. I've tried Add/Remove Hardware, I've uninstalled and reinstalled all network related drivers (or all I was aware of) and nothing works.
The Device Manager method to uninstall the driver and reinstall worked for me! I have 4 unknow devices and I have resolved all the four of them by installing drivers from HP.com for this model.
